If It's Too Good to be True...

Complaints about phishing have been coming in for a couple of years.  Most of us know what phishing is, and when something sounds like it's too good to be true, it probably is.

However, the delete key must be too far away, or we think we're invincible. All of the tech giants are fighting phishers but all the technology in the world won't keep an individual for falling for a scam.  Remember, No one should be asking you for personal/confidential information in email.  Call the institution (don't use the number in listed in the email) and question the request.  You'll find it wasn't them asking. Don't click on a link in email, go directly to their URL. Keep your passwords private...and if it's too good to be true, it probably is!  Remember, Stop. Think. Secure IT!
