The recent news stories about exposure of the designs for the U.S. presidential helicopter are a security embarrassment of the highest order.
Specifically, a defense contractor had peer-to-peer (P2P) software on its systems, and the designs were exposed to the systems and then to the world. Just to make everyone’s day, the designs ended up in Iranian hands.
Sharing information over the Internet is like shouting to a billion people. Everyone can see the pictures you post and read the information you enter, unless you protect yourself.
