Travel Safety for Your Laptop
A survey conducted last year showed that business travelers were most likely to lose their laptops in the security line or at the gate—places where people tend to be stressed out, in a hurry, and distracted. For these reasons, one of the best things you can do is just give yourself plenty of time at the airport. Don't over pack and you won't be overwhelmed with items to juggle in the security line. And try to ensure that you're going through the metal detector while your laptop is going through the security scanner so that it's out of your sight for only a minimum amount of time.
