Stalking, Harassment, Online Fraud and other Criminal Activities
Computing resources are sometimes misused for harassment and stalking. These behaviors may spread beyond cyberspace into "real life" and can be seriously disruptive for the victim. Law enforcement also deals with cases of online fraud and child pornography. Points of contact for filing reports follow.
If you feel threatened or afraid, contact the Rutgers University Police Department. Save copies of chat logs or electronic mail messages or other evidence. Outside of Rutgers University, please contact your local law enforcement.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). The site provides an online reporting mechanism for Internet crime, including fraud, child pornography, and other crimes.
